Aadhaar Card Registration Status: In an effort to help Aadhaar card enrollment applicants, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced that there are 4 ways to check the enrollment status of one’s Aadhaar card. – call 1947, write to [email protected], check the status online by connecting to the direct link resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar or through the mAadhaar app if the requester is a user of android phone.

The UIDAI informed about these four ways to check the status of Aadhaar card enrollment via a tweet citing: “Call 1947 or email us at [email protected] to find out the status of your Aadhaar registration. Keep your registration form handy. You would need to enter your EID (including date and time). This feature is also available at https://resident.uidai.gov.in/ check-aadhaar or in #mAadhaarApp. “

UIDAI has cautioned applicants for Aadhaar enrollment to keep the EID, including date and time, on hand while choosing one of four ways to verify Aadhaar enrollment status. When you call 1947, the Aadhaar executive who picks up your phone will ask for your EID. Likewise, when you send an email to [email protected], you should not forget to mention your EID along with the date and time.

How to Check Aadhaar Card Registration Status Online

However, if the Aadhaar enrollment applicant is computer savvy, they can check their Aadhaar card enrollment status by logging into the direct link – resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar. Here is a step-by-step guide to checking Aadhaar card registration status online:

1]Log on to the direct link – resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar;

2]Enter 14 ENO digits (1234/12345/12345) and mention the date and time according to the acknowledgment of receipt;

3]Type CAPTCHA;

4]Click on the “Check status” button; and

5]The status of your Aadhaar card registration will be displayed on the computer screen or on the screen of the Android phone.
