Music for a cause.

Three upcoming shows at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center serve as fundraisers for the Friends of the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center lobby renovation project. Featuring Majesty of Rock, US Stones and Divas of Jazz, all three concerts will take place next weekend. Renovation projects for the PAC hall have been underway since 2019.

Kicking off the fundraising weekend will be Majesty of Rock, performing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29. They are a five piece band that will recreate the sound and feel of two great American bands: Journey and Styx. According to PAC, the group “captures every nuance of these iconic legends so precisely that they are in constant demand.” Majesty of Rock will perform hits from both bands and tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.

At 7:30 p.m. on Saturday April 30, the US Stones will take the stage. This is a six-piece Rolling Stones tribute band with Doug Baird and Eric Anderson as Mick Jaggers and Keith Richards. “High energy and the ability to replicate each member’s personality with authentic mannerisms, gear, and stage attire allows the US Stones to bring the look, feel, and swagger to the stage,” a statement read. hurry. The band has performed to an estimated audience of over 125,000 people since 2012, and tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.

Finally, at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, the Jazz Divas will return to PAC to present “A Golden Afternoon of Jazz Greatness,” featuring Nina Skyy. The Divas of Jazz are an all-female group and have performed at Disney. Some band members have also toured with notable artists, such as Prince. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.

Tickets can also be purchased online at ormondbeach.org/267/Performing-Arts-Center, or at the PAC box office, located at 399 NUS 1 in Ormond Beach. The box office is open Tuesday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and two hours before performances.
