Sanya’s tourism potential
Sanya is a large Chinese seaside resort with over one million inhabitants, according to the 2021 census. According to official statistics, tourism in Sanya is gradually recovering from the pandemic. In the first quarter, at least 6.96 million tourists visited the resort, which is more than three times the figure for the same period in 2020.
