Phinsider Radio Notes: Help Us Obi-Wan Jacoby, You Are Our Only Hope + Miami Dolphins Mailbag Questions

Phinsider Radio broadcast notes for September 22, 2021.

Brian Flores directed Tua Tagovailoa OUTSIDE for Sunday’s game against the Raiders.

  1. “He is in a lot of pain. We got some initial diagnostics and decided to run some more tests and run them and get some information. It’s unfortunate, but it’s not something we think about – I don’t want to put a timeline on it. He is doing better but still has some pain. – Flores

The sky is falling.

  1. @stevemontoya: Why does it look like the same dolphins from the past? Stephane
  2. Sand_in_shoes on The Phinsider: How don’t our QBs do better with all the time they have to sit in the pocket and separate the defense. I mean, look at the photo associated with this article. It was probably at least 6 or 7 seconds after the ball was broken. Law?! Law…?
  3. @Luc_Boalt: What do you think Jacoby BRISKET will have to do to have a dub this Sunday? and do you think reid mf Sinnett has a chance to get out if BRISKET can’t? Love the podcast, keep up the good work!
  4. Will the Dolphins’ offense be any different with Jacoby Brissett at the helm? – Anonymous

Jacoby Brissett to start with Reid Sinnett as a replacement.

  1. Right-handed versus left-handed is the biggest change this week.
  2. Brissett vs. Buffalo: 24 of 40 for 169 yards and an interception. Sacked four times.
  3. Preseason: Jacoby Bristtett: 14/18 166 yards, 29 long and two touchdowns.
  4. Preseason: Reid Sinnett: 30/45,401 yards, three touchdowns and one interception
  5. From @ESPNStatsInfo: Jacoby Brissett is 11-19 in 30 starts in the past 5 seasons. He’s among the worst QBRs and yards per attempt during this time, and is the only QB with at least 25 starts accomplishing less than 60% of his passes.
  6. @Mastodactyl: What will it realistically take for the fan base to relax?

Offensive line dance

  1. Tuesday Miami Herald – Liam Eichenberg will play the left guard post and Solomon Kindley will step off the bench.
  2. Which offensive line would you like to see?
  3. Jake: Eichenberg – Jackson – Dieter – Kindley – Hunt.
  4. Houtz: Eichenberg-Robert Jones-Deiter-Davis-Hunt (Crepe Jones)
