Join dance artist Paige Gordon for a creative and cheerful dance class from the safety of your own chair. Lifespan and the MPAC present seated dance lessons in the beautiful dance studio of the Mandurah Performing Arts Center. Starting with the torso and arm movements, adding footwork to the sequences, these dance classes will get people moving to fabulous music. Suitable for seniors and people with reduced mobility; and approved by Dance for Parkinson’s Australia. After class, which runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., there will be morning tea in the hall where you can chat with other dancers. Cost – $ 10 payable at the reception desk. Caregivers can attend for free. The first class takes place on Monday May 3, then every two weeks thereafter. Registration is essential.
