The Performing Arts Center Announces 2022-23 Event Lineup

The Penn State Performing Arts Center announcement its event lineup for the 2022-23 school year last week. Although already available to members and groups, tickets will go on sale to the rest of the public on September 1.

Tickets can be ordered on lineby phone at 814-863-0255, or in person from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at the Arts Ticket Center in the Eisenhower Auditorium.

Here is the full list of events:

September 2022

  • “Prince Hamlet” will be presented by the Penn State School of Theater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 16 and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 17 at the Playhouse Theater.
  • Malpaso Dance Company will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 29 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.

October 2022

  • Robb Hall at the Hintz Alumni Center will host the Classical Coffeehouse at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5.
  • Aizuri Quartet will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 6 in the recital hall of the School of Music.
  • Miguel Zenon Quartet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, in the recital hall of the School of Music.
  • An opera, “A Marvelous Order,” will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 20 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.

November 2022

  • Delfeayo Marsalis and Uptown Jazz Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
  • Kings Return at 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 10 in the School of Music Recital Hall.
  • Soweto Gospel Choir at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.

February 2023

  • “In the Year of Boar and Jackie Robinson” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
  • Munich Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15 in the Eisenhower Auditorium.
  • “A Standing Witness” at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.

March 2023

  • Soul Science Lab at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
  • Flip Fabrique at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.

April 2023

  • Amir ElSaffar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
  • “Our Planet Lives in Concert” at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
  • “Fiddler on the Roof” at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
  • Takacs String Quartet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at the School of Music Recital Hall.
